A draft of the master plan for Columbia Town Center will be released on April 28. It will be shared in a public meeting at the Spear Center and posted on this site. General Growth Properties (GGP) encourages the participation of all interested Howard County residents in the formation of this plan. This collaborative process will result in a Columbia Master Plan that is shaped by the ideas of its citizens, and brought to life by GGP's planning team.
The first draft of the master plan, which will follow the county's recently released framework plan, will be followed by sustained collaboration, village-by-village, focusing on each concern and the collective determination for a better Columbia.
After the announcement of the draft, there will be a number of public meetings and open forums at which members of the community are encouraged to meet, ask questions and share ideas with GGP's planning team.
